    Hi

I am 2 weeks post op today and I must say I went out for a short ride to the local supermarket 1 week post op and it really did not do me any good, I went out again yeserday and again had to sleep when i got back was only gone 45 mins. I wil be going out next thursday for coffee with a friend. You are early days into your recovery so please dont overdo it as i did and had tospend 2 1/2 days in bed last week.

It is so important to get plenty of rest.

    Hi,

I'm 6 weeks post op only been out a handful of times and paid for it later. Went out to do a little shopping yesterday was ok until I got back sore and tired but feel ok today.

All I can say is take it easy and just be prepared to feel a little uncomfortable after.

i had exactly same op and had my staples out mon 20.4.15.

I've just been looking online as to what i should be able to do by now and i'm amazed that 2 weeks after op (this will be mon 27.4.15 for me) it says i can do low impact exercise!!!, and start getting back to normal and only thing i shouldn't do is lift heavy objects. I had been looking at my cross trainer thinking no way jose but after reading this perhaps i should be getting on it as it also said that by weeks 3 to 4 you should expect to be able to walk for 30 - 60 mins!!, this was from the royal college of Gynee's and obs.  Oh well i'm in for some pain then as been walking quite a lot and going shopping and had friends round and made a couple of dinners etc but training is going to be a whole different ball game, i must admit though i haven't had the tiredness that others are talking about.

I hope you feel better soon xxx
