Ache on right hand side of abdomen.

Posted , 3 users are following.

Since the start of January I have been dealing with this constant ache that moves to the middle sometimes. I have had a clear ultrasould, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy. Calprotectin test was 180 thats why I had the Colonsocpy. I awaiting a HIDA scan at the end of November and now after I eat a meal I get a headache that throbs at the front of my head and eyes. This is so frustrating as I have never troubled my GP never mind consultants. Anybody have any thoughts?

    Hi

it's good they are doing a HIDA scan. I had whoppers of gallstones with no right sided pain. It was all on the left side.

On the headache after eating, I did a quick search and it has a name, postprandial headache so it can be a recognisable symptom of a number of thing that have treatments and solutions. I'm not a medical person so would rather not second guess but would suggest you push the doctors for answers. It's likely they can do something about it.
