was diagnosed nearly 10 years ag with Acid Reflux. Prescribed Omeprazole 40mg per day. Recently however having lot of sore throats or burning in throat and upper stomach and osophagus pain. Taking gaviscon 3-4 times p/day too. Has anyone else had similar and does anyone know why getting worse. Today had to take 4 capsules - 80mg in one day. Getting worried

My symptoms started 2 years ago. I also have several pain when I swallow. I think mine has to do with a hiatal hernia and loose Les. I'm having 80mg of tecta every day. You should consult a surgeon like I am..
