Acid Rflux Or Something Else?

Hi. I am 16 & i was diagnosed with acid reflux & anxiety. Everytime i try to put food in my mouth, it feels like I'm about to throw it back up. But after im done eating, it goes away. I'm confused. I have an appetite. But it's like I can only ear salads & stuff without concentrating on not throwing up. I have been constipated to o with headaches, & sometimes nausea. This occurred after i stopped taking my reflux medication. Any idea what this is?

Hey Jessixa, it almost sounds like you have a digestive issue and not a reflux issue.  I had reflux issues since I was 18 and now I am 32 and never really experienced any sort of thing like that before.  I would check up with your doctor first and if he keeps telling you to take the reflux meds tell him to shove it because he isn't fixing the issue.  All he is doing is putting a band aid and not correcting the source that is causing the problem.  Just so your aware of the long term effects of the medication do research on the medication.  Long term use is not safe especially as such a young age.

It was never always like this. Only started after I let my acid reflux go & stopped taking medicine. I saw a doctor on October & i had a stomach xray & blood tests. Nothing. I wasn't having these symptoms back then but what could've happened in 2 months...

Nausea is a common acid reflux symptom. I would suggest you go to a GI and get an Endoscopy done.
