LaToya,
I completely understand you situation. As I am sure you already know, adrenal cancer is extremely rare. You won't find much on search boards on the internet. Much of the information can be very discouraging, but there is hope out there. There are two types of adrenal cancer (slow and fast moving). My mom was diagnosed with it December 2017 (she had a large cancerous tumor removed from her adrenal gland and was suffering from Cushings). She had a scan after and was clean, but fast forward to June 2019 and mets have popped up on her lung and liver. She just had radiation on the liver mets via True Beam (lungs mets are too small). There isn't much information out there for us as it is so rare. I would highly recommend Dr. Hammer out of University of Michigan. You can reach out via email and he will get in touch with you. He is the expert in the nation and my parents just brought him on for a second opinion and to help with continuing treatment. Feel free to message me as well as I have been researching this disease for the last two years.
All my best to you and your dad!
Jen
