After first herpes outbreak

Hi

Recently diagnosed with herpes. They gave me the anti viral. Cleared up pretty quickly. The skin was still red and didnt feel as normal so i took another 5days anti viral course.

Its now over a month and the skins slightly discoloured only slightly and i can feel the area affected at certain times. No bumps etc.

I have been masturbating and it seems more tender after this. My question is really how long does the skin take to heal properly as i am thinking about going on the anti virals full time for peace of mind

Wow! That comment showed up but not my other one.

You dont need antivirals. Nature is the answers. Take Paul Stamets Host Defense Immune Support supplements. Its healing my bf HSV2

      How many supplements?

There are a few options for that host immune defense

I will still take anti virals as they do work for me but a little extra protection cant hurt right

I know everyone is different but here's my own experience : I found out I had genital hsv1 in early July and I am just now starting to feel normal down there . My outbreak lasted Maybe 2 weeks but even after it completely went away I still felt tingly and itchy constantly up until about a week or so ago ! . Give it time and hopefully in another month or two you'll feel more "normal" too smile
