After prostatis.

Hello, i am 26 year old male.. I had stone in my bladder that blocked my urine 2 months ago.. I have a surgery and stone got removed.. But after that i was unable to urinate and i was on catheter for 7 days.. After that i got prostate infection and my prostate size was 63 gms now after taking antibiotics for 2 months.. It is now 14 grams.

But frequency of urination is not improved

I still have to pee in every one hour.. I dont feel urgency.. But there is always a restless feeling in my bladder and legs.. That pushes me to go and empty the bladdder.. Feeling inceases when i sit down.. Please help.. It is affecting my life badly..

    I want to speak about our problem i have the same problem. It will take long time before you become normal again. I think we need to live with it. I want you to know that girl friend or marrige make it much better.

      I am living with it... How much time it will take??? I have only day frequency.. I sleep well in night.. Are you ok now..??

    Ishant.  I feel sorry for you my young friend.  Anything in that area can have alot of pain.  I agree with Moudar it will take you a while to heal because there is a lot of bacteria.  How did they remove the stone.  I hope they did not mess up your prostate.  You may have a infection in any part of that area.  Are you still on antibotic If not I worl ask the doctor for sosme just to make sure.  I'm happy your prostate is smaller now,  Sometime a doctor will do a turp to remove the stone if they can't get to them.  At your age that would be horrible at 26.  Make sure you drink alot of water and cranberry juice to help your kidneys and bladder Take care and I hope you feel better  Ken

    I agree with the other two replies.  Be patient, drink plenty of water, and give it time.  It will get better.  It's a sensitive area with a lot going on around it.  You  might also try an anti-inflammitory such as ibuprofen for a few days.
