Hello Weesue. Exciting times for you now, a lovely wedding to look forward to. Hopefully you'll be fitted with a pessary that will help because having 3 prolapse is awful. Some of us complain with 1 or 2 but I can only imagine what it must feel like. I think you are going to need something really strong to get your bowels moving. Picolax that's given prior to bowel examinations is sometimes considered as a one off just to clear the bowel but it is like dynamite!! I can vouch for that! Keep in touch xx

I can say that I wore a pessary for about 17 years. My polapse occured immediately after terribly long and traumatic vaginal delivery. I had prolapsed bladder, rectum and uterus with the worst being the bladder. I was unable to do much physical activity at all without the strange, new feeling that my insides were falling out. This got worse without support and became unbearable.
The first week wearing the pessary was uncomfortable as it irritated by vagina. However, that resolved quickly and I got used to the device. I would take in out at night and reisert in the morning. In relatively little time, the pessary did not bother me at all. I found that when I forgot to insert it in the morning, within an hour, I would know. Sometimes, when I started activity right away and hadn't put it in, it would ruin my day as I had to get horizontal to find relief. So I started keeping the pessary in around the clock. While I showered, I'd remove it to wash it and reinsert while still in the shower. This worked for me for many years. It wasn't perfect, but allowed me to live my life.
I believe it will make a HUGE difference in your life as well. There are different types, so don't be afraid to try a different style (shape) if the one you start out with isn't helping. Remeber to give it a chance if you feel irritation or discomfort in the beginning. And if taking it in and out is difficult or freaks you out in way, please give that time as well. You will get used to it.
I am just over 8 weeks post op and my pessary is in safe place. I wasn't convinced that surgery could allow me to live normally without it. I still am not sure and will keep it handy in the event it becomes necessary again.
Get the pessary ASAP, be open minded about it, get used to it, and then enjoy your honeymoon!!!!
