So I started 3  and a bit weeks ago and after as slow start only having lost 3lbs on 2 weeks I have weighed myself at home this morning and its showing as 9lbs lost I know there is a discrepancy between my scales and Drs so will have to take what they as right - Either way feeling v proud of myself as  I really have struggled with weight due to steriod usage for RA. Not only do I feel better confidence wise my joints also feel a little better too. Had a family do yesterday and my lovely sister said that I looked so much better not just weight loss but I seemed to be smilling more - Dont be disheartened if you only have a little loss - A LOSS IS A LOSS!!!!xbiggrin

That's great! I had my first weigh in last week and my scales weigh very differently to the drs. I thought I had lost 7 lbs, then on wiegh day I weighed myself and it registered that I'd put 3lbs back on. I was worried about going to the dr as I thought she'd be disappointed with my weight loss - I was trying to explain to her that I had lost more initially but had put a few lbs back on but thought it was because I felt constipated. Anyway, she just wanted to get me on the scales and she was so pleased - I had lost 11lbs and that was at 2 and a half weeks. It should have been a monthly weigh in but trying to get appointments at our surgery is a nightmare so you have to take what you can get. I don't use my scales now and will just wait and see what the scales say next time I go to the dr. Good luck with your weigh in! I'm sure you'll have a very nice surprise!!

You'll be fine and like you say, even if it's a small loss, that's better than nothing. A loss, whatever it is means you are lighter and going in the right direction!! smile
