Am I being daft!?

hi,

so for a while now (since ive been obsessed with my throat) i can feel something near my pulse in my neck....both sides but the left seems larger! it seems like a lump...i have it both sides but like i say its on both sides but slightly smaller on right. after ive been poking it it feels like something is in my throat!! im really freaking out. ill upload a pic to where its located. can anyone tell me whats there?

    Those are your lymph nodes. If you get sick, you will notice they will become inflamed and feel larger. Thus, one side can be bigger than the other.

      well ive only just started noticing them. like their not large and i wouldnt notice them if i wasnt touching them. can prodding them make them larger?
