I suffered with thoughts of dying excessively but it's only ever been about my heart or lungs ( mainly heart ) i have slowly come to terms after endless tests that i have anxiety and no longer suffer panic attacks ...I used to get left arm pain , headaches , acid reflux etc but slowly as I've calmed down they are gradually dissapearing but the feeling of shortness of breath never seems to go away !!! Is this normal ?? Am I seriously ill or is my body just used to having to pull in for air that i do it naturally now all the time ?? If I've managed to control all my other symptoms why has this symptom lingered if nothing is really wrong with me ?? I've had heart and lung checks all fine apart from a heart rythm that top pumps too fast for bottom valve sometimes but doctors aren't concerned as it's quite common so whats wrong with me ?? Is it all just in my head ?? Will it ever go away ?? Anyone else experience just shortness of breath nothing else as symptoms ??? 😢😢 or am I crazy ???

Definitely not crazy ! You're just like the rest of us .... we have our different symptoms , but yiure totally fine and YES A BIG FAT YES IT IS ALL ANXIETY . The b*****d that she is lol ..... try to meditate totally helps

But most people on here seem to have lots of symptoms or different illness each time , wherass mine is always my heart and only thing I get is shortness of breath but am fine walking and talking just very aware that i constantly need to try to fill my lungs up all the time like they aren't filling up properly 😕....is it normal to experience just 1 symptom alone ??

Absolutely check this out . I get exactly what u get and more .... it's very hard but we can beat it

Yes I've been getting like that alot lately . Its driving me crazy and its scary. I've been going to a heart doctor and they did test she told me i have a small leaking valve so I've been scared every since she told me that. Does anyone else have that too. ?

Along with this breathing is essential for the human body, so your anxiety sees it as a perfect thing to attack. It is the perfect thing to create irrational fears for, and this is how anxiety works. Creating irrational fears.
These irrational fears then can be kept in loops, especially if you have OCD.
Try to find something very challenging mentally to keep your brain occupied. Like sudoku, or building a business.
