Am I supposed to notice fluoxetine working ?

Hi 

I’ve been on fluoxetine since November 2017 it’s be an up and down ride with side effects, I think it’s finally settled, what I want to know is if I am supposed to notice it working, what am I supposed to feel, I’m currently on 18mg dose, I feel slightly better but I’m not sure if it’s doing anything or it’s placebo effect. Thanks

    I have just posted a post too I have been on fluoxetine since end Nov 2017 as well sometimes my days are easier but it is a roller coast er back and forth last few days v intense and this is mostly the pattern I took fluoxetniec for a year once before I noticed v little all that time but then one morning I woke up feeling like me again that horrible feeling had gone and the headaches which I suffer badly from I just hope this will happen at some point again mornings are terrible especially

      After that morning you felt you woke up you again, did it sustain that level ? We’re most of the days after that ok?

      I was absolutely fine my old self happy and better it takes time it comes and gos I think in our lives I let myself slip back into it 4cyears later by getting overtired and letting it get to me
