Hello, I am new to this forum. i have tried to stay away from medical websites as there is just wayyyy to much information. So i have turned to patient comments which i think or hope will help. iam a late 40's male overall in good health other than high blood pressure. I lost my wife 7 years ago to MS
Hopefully some people have somethings they can share with me. And i thank you for reading my stuff in advance.
Over the past 5 years i have experienced several physical symptoms . to preface this i have numerously blood tests and my Dr tells me its Stress / Anxiety etc your blood is "Clean" nothing there kinda thing. And don't get me wrong one should be pleased that the Dr says you are good but I'am not.
My symptoms are everything from a mild nausea , head zaps, tightness mild unbalanced at times my eyes can water / burn from time to time. i do even get a tingling down my left leg into my foot last a few seconds. When i have nausea its weird i have the feeling of upset stomach/ throwing up etc however if invited or its a meal time i will eat and knock on wood it stays down. I also get a sore neck ( motion) when i turn all the way left or right. I usually feel better when I am laying down, i look forward to bed time cause i don't feel like crap.
I could be just sitting there like recently at a business event it like a "wave" that comes over me could last a few minutes or days or the remminents there of.
Sometimes i think about certain situations and i do all i can to get out of them. for example going up north and going to a remote site freaks me out, i do get feelings like I am going to die, I get mild / pressure headaches from time to time. Sometimes i have a mild out of body experience.
I wouldn't say that i have anymore stress than others maybe I am wrong. I have had a long road with a business venture that i have undertaken. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel if a large piece can fall into place and this is what I'am doing right now.
Welll i have blah blah blahed enough. any time of insite , experience that anyone has had i would greatly appreciate it. Cheers

Really ? I thought i was the only one because its very constant. i feel better when i lay down / go to sleep. usually within 10 to 15 min of my head coming off the pillow and walking around the symptoms hit me. sometimes body numbness even feeling weak or off balance or out of body kinda thing. some symptoms as you know are not easy to describe. is there anything that helps you deal with the symptoms ?

one of the things they have one utube is mindful relaxtion exercises that can help with breathing to help sometimes during or start of a panic attack. you kind of have to go through and find one ya like, for me a lot of the voices weren't soothing. sometimes they can be helpful, just a suggestion. this is just one of the things ive tried, sometimes it helps somes, other times does nothing

i haven't, i wish i could relax enough to try. the mindful relaxtion is probably the only thing close to relaxing that i can get sometimes, even that at times can be difficult, feel like my heart is always racing so fast. has meditation worked for you?

Hi. No I am not on any meds. The only real med I have taken in any recent memory is a pain killer tramadol.
I will be seeing my Dr soon I will speak with him about it.

Sounds like anxiety related to me. I've had most of those symptoms you described above from anxiety. I've gotten the wave feeling, the head zaps, stomach issues, tingling arms/legs, pressure headaches, muscle tension and more. Have you tried seeing a therapist?

Ouch sounds terrible. I think I might have lbs which sadly is a diagnosis of exclusion.
No I haven't had tried a therapist. Was going to speak about meds or other options with my Dr. How long do your attacks and or symptoms last?

wish the Dr's could understand the wave part or the sudden rush we get, feel like they stare at ya like you are crazy. my first panic attack happened 20 years ago, was under control for a while, now the last two years have been tough and the last three days it wont stop at all, im fighting so hard not to go to the emergency room. i cant sleep, i feel like i cant catch my breath and that someone is crushing my chest. everything will be fine and then this rush comes through and its scary and hard to explain to others. my meds haven't helped at all for the last three days. sorry you are going through all this. hope things get

I hear you. i have told mine several times and all i get is your blood is clean nothing there. this has gone on for years gradually the symptoms get worse and different ones present themselves as well.
Oddly i had an inguinal hernia repaired and they gave me for pain Tramadol. well that was the best couple weeks i have had in a long time. my problems went away.
