Hi Nirithes, I am currently on my 3rd attempt to get of ami. I am taking 2.5 mg at present but my dizziness, brain fog, neck tension, strange muffled/sensitive ear feeling and sever anxiety are worrying. I was in 2 minds to stop all together or increase to 5 mg, i have been like this for 17 days sad .Previously when i went from 10 mg to 5mg i had  the headache from hell, abdominal cramps, such bad nausea, bloating, eye pain, whole body pain and chills. What mg did you get to before stopping?

I have been on ami for 20 years, I was on a 50mg dose and went from that to 10mg overnight, basically I finished what was left of my 50mg packet and went straight onto the 10mg. I have been on this for approx 8 months and had no issues apart from the first few days after my reduction in dosage my sleep patterns were slightly interrupted but were back to normal within the week. I have heard of others who have had a range of withdrawel symptoms, hopefully yours don't hang around too long.

Hi Becky, i had no problems weaning to 10 mg , it is the lower doses that are affecting me , especially the anxiety. x
