My son who is 11 years, has the following conditions/readings:

- Food sensitivities (gluten, dairy, lactose) since birth

- Serum insulin < 2

- TSH: 2.51 mIU/L

- Free T4: 20.8 pmol/L

- Free T3: 7.2 pmol/L

- Serum Amylase: 121 U/L

His weight gain has been low over the last 2 yrs. No other visible symptoms

Any advice as to what could be the possible causes & treatment is appreciated.

Thanks

Sam

I’m so so sorry for your son but we are not Drs.  Anyone telling you what they think it is is way out of line.  He’s 11 and needs to be seen by specialist.   A good GI Dr is where you need to start.

I’ll try for healing for your baby.

Why was his blood taken to begin with? There’s usually certain blood panels ran. This looks like a list from multiple different panels ordered. One panel for example could be a thyroid panel, another one maybe mebotalic (spelling?) panel. Different doctors will order different panels. You need to speak with the doctor who ordered the blood tests. Furthermore we all have different “normal” blood ranges. So what may be normal for me may not be normal for your child especially given the age. I hope you’re able to find answers. Best of luck and wishes.
