an angel in heaven is watching over us

my mother in law was an angel in life just as she is in death and i know she is watching down on me and she helped me get my diagnosis and if it was not for her i would not be on this forum and would not know you all and im proud to know you all and your support has been great and i appreciate it so i have asked my mother in law to not just watch over me but all of you on this forum to and if she was hear she would tell you all to never give in to fibro and dont let it control or stop you from enjoying life as life is what you make of it not some illness she had rheumatoid Arthritis,bronchiectasis,asthma then she ended  up with breast cancer  which she was treated for and it went away but then came back with a vengence and it was in her liver and she had chemo for 14 plus month and it did not work and it ended up in her brain and she died from brain cancer but before she passed she organised her own funeral and she knew she was dieing before she ended up unexpectedly in hospital she knew about a year ago she did not have long but she was so strong and just enjoyed life and she said to me enjoy everyday like its your last cause 1 day it will be and by then its to late as enjoyment of life is what life is all about cause if you dont enjoy life then was is the point in living and even though you have an illness dont let it stop you from enjoying life and i thought it to be relivent to share her words to me to you all as with fibro it does have the tendency to try to rule our lives but like she used to say life is what you make of it not an illness so i hope her words and her story that i have shared inspires you all like it has me she was an angel in life and she is an angel still and she is watching over us all as i told her at her grave yesterday you all mean the world to me your all amazing friends and are very supportive and understanding so i asked her to watch over you all and i know she is and with what she had to deal with in life she was so strong and let her strength rub off on you all

    Aww Derek, She sounds like a wonderful lady, and I am a true believer in angels and that the tests we endure on earth prepare us for the greater plan. And I definately beleive that those loved ones who have passed on continue to look over us. 

    It is very sad to see somebody you love suffer so much, but knowing that they are still around when times get hard is very comforting

    My dad passed away at the age of 59 after a short illness, but he too was one of earths angels. 

    I like to beleive they always walk amongst us and to know there may be one extra in your mother in law is all the more comforting

      they will be with us always and never forget them as good people should never go forgotten and let there strength rub off on you and hope it makes you stronger and more able to deal with fibro

      thanks she is a true angel and hope her story has inspired you in some way and helps you become more stronger and more able to handle fibro cause her words and support have helped me even more so in death as i know she is with me i can feel her i just wish i could see her in reality but at least i can in my dreams and knowing that makes it easier to deal with not just grieving but with fibro to cause stress,worry and depression does not help fibro it fuels it so cause i can see her in my dreams its almost like shes not gone but still here inside me and that comforts me

    your mother in law  was an inspirational lady with words if wisdow. We cant let fibro win we have to battle on. some one once said to me life is not a rehersal you only get one chance of it so go for it. None of us know whats round the corner. so even though we face a daily battle we much cherish every single moment as if its our last. you were very lucky to have her in your life derek cherish those memories of her bless her x

    r.i.p mum and watch over us all as even though we try to remain strong sometimes its easier said then done its nice knowing an angel is watching over us all and it gives me great comfort and i hope your story mum helps others as it has me your a true insperation mum and i hope others feel inspired by you i love you and miss you and have never met anyone as strong as you and im happy knowing you wilo be looking over us all and giving not just me your strength but everyone on this forum some of your strength cause we all need it and i promiss i will never forget you and will always be greatfull for all you have done for me and promiss i will be a kind good hearted supportive person like you was and help others the way you did and hope you are proud of me just as i am of you and you meant the world to me just as my friends on here do and please watch over them to mum help them get through each day and dont let fibro give them hell give them the strength to battle on and get through the day as you would for me keep them free from depression and stress and all things negative keep them positive and give them your strength so that they can get through each day as best as they can and dont let them go through to much pain and for that i will be forever greatfull and thanks mum for being there for me i will not forget that love you forever now spread your wings mum and fly and enjoy them you have earned them xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

      now i have grieved over no longer being the person i once was i can now grieve over her i miss her and even though i can feel her for me its not enough i want her back but its not going to happen at least i can feel her presence and it comforts me x
