Anal itching after contact

Hi,

6 days ago I had receptive anal sex. It was protected. However during foreplay prior to the sex beginning, the head of their penis touched my anus unprotected. I also gave oral sex unprotected.

2 days later whilst passing faeces there was a slight stinging sensation around my anus - which I thought normal as the sex was slightly painful.

I also seemed to have a sore throat and feel slightly rundown.

Around 4 days later my anus began itching and there was a slight stinging sensation whilst showering with gel. There is however no pain/stinging/burning when passing faeces.

Days 5 and 6 the itching/slight burning seems to be increasing and today it caused me to wake up early.

Does this sound like some kind of STI?

Thank you

Just a correction ( I don't know how to edit ) - although passing faeces does not hurt or sting quite as it did the first time after the sex. There is now a kind of very mild burning sensation afterward

It seems unlikely that it's an STI, but if you want to get tested, you could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.

If you could update this thread and tell us what the doctors say, it would be appreciated.  Good luck.
