Anal pain - thrombosed haemorrhoids ?

Hi everyone first time positing here a spike many others mindngoes into overdrive in search of answers , had a few bouts of what I assumed were haemorrhoids in the past always when I had severe constipation , suffer with a bad back and take codiene which caused it (don't take it anymore) had a really bad case of constipation about a week and a half ago and when I eventually did "go" it was excruciating my fault as pretty much forced it out since then I had a burning searing pain whenever I opened my bowels and constant pain afterwards. My bowel movements are normal now and o don't have pain opening my bowels but have constant anal pain , I can't sit or even walk without feeling like I had a sharpe ball inside me , I contacted the doctor who did a phone triage and said it sounded like thrombossed haemorrhoids , I have no bleeding whatsoever which is why I'm confused as almost all people with piles bleed . He prescribed me a steroid cream to use internally (although I figured you didn't get thrombossed haemorrhoids internally) have been taken it for a few days and see no improvement , painkillers to nothing to ease the pain and I feel like the pain is in my tailbone , it feels so delbilitating . I'm going to go back to the doctors but I'm petrified and also struggle to clean myself after going to the loo and have to use a sitz bath as it's so so painful to touch I don't think I could bare a digital inspection , has anyone has similar symptoms ? I feel like the more I worry the more the pain comes on , im in tears most of the time asmits complete agony and im scared to even cough or sneeze because of pain

    Hi

i have spent over a week looking for someone with the same symptoms as me and here you are.

i went to the doctors last week and had an examination internal and external and they said i had thrombossed piles and prescribed a steroid cream. (dont feel like its working that much)

i have been experiencing pain in my tailbone too, and thinking the worst. I been thinkjng how can piles cause pain in your tail bone, there must be something more seriously wrong with me. it has got a bit better over the last week but it comes and goes.

i am taking painkilles to help and thinking how long is this going to last for.

I suffer from constipation and diarrhoea and i have not bleed that much, so you dont always bleed with piles.

Its strange how piles can make you have pain in other areas. I ve been experiencing alot of abdomen discomfort too but think thats another issue.

how long have you been suffering for ??

Hi, I ve also got this.

Mine started with tailbone pain which I thought was from sitting on hard seating for months. Eventually I had what I thought was food poisoning and went to dr who had a nurse check and said I have internal hemmoroid and gave me cream. After that it came and went and then I developed constipation and had some mild bleeding, just few drops. It didn't go away so back to the dr and she can't see hemmoroid but I had an inflammation so gave me more cream. Now I have pain in tailbone still but it is less painful but have alot of mucous and maybe a spot of blood now and then.

I did lose a 2 kg and not sure if its cos I was eating less or its something else.

I think I will need a colonoscopy, which I have been putting off but even though it is better than it was it is still there and the mucous is bothering me.

I did read somewhere that sometimes internal haemorrhoids can be higher up and cause tailbone pain. I also had seen a specialist yrs ago after giving birth who said I had a thrombosed internal henmoroid that had burst.

I don't know if they come back or if hemmies cause mucous but it is causing me so much stress.
