Anorgasmia

I am 35 and for my entire life, I have been unable to orgasm/ejaculate while awake (with one exception, noted below).  I have had nocturnal emissions (wet dreams) since I was 13, and still do frequently - sometimes a month apart, sometimes twice in one night.  For this reason, and since it's been my entire life, I am assuming my problem is psychological.

I have always been able to get an erection - whether from physical contact with a woman, looking at or thinking about sex or attractive women, or for no reason whatsoever.  I tried masturbation in my teens, and while I can get erect, I'm never been able to get to ejaculation.  Several times during my earlier sexual encounters in my 20s, I was unable to get an erection, however, likely due to nervousness.  I had my testosterone checked and there was nothing physically wrong.  The doctor gave me some Levitra samples just to give me a "boost" and get my confidence back.  It generally works (unless I'm drunk, and even then, I'm usually OK).

I currently use Levitra with my girlfriend and have always been able to get an erection. However, I cannot climax.  The only time I've ever had an orgasm while awake was when I was 27 and watching erotic women's wrestling (basically semi-porn).  I wasn't even consciously masturbating, just sort of "playing with myself."  In the eight years since, this hasn't happened again.

I'm not overly concerned in the near term; however, ultimately, I would like to have children, so this has to be dealt with sooner or later.

Appreciate any insights.

Sounds unusual.  Did you have a full endocrine check when your testosterone was checked?  Are you taking any medication for anything or do you use any street drugs?  Did your doctor have any other suggestions besides Levitra?

No, the Levitra/T-test was all 8 years ago.  At that time, the discussion was around erection - ejaculation was not discussed.  He chalked it up to performance anxiety.

No hard drugs or pot.  Some allergy meds the last few years, but given that this has been a problem since puberty, I can't say they could be a cause.

If it's eight years since you've seen a doctor about this, then I'd go back.  I'm not sure what advice they'd be able to give, but you could start off with some more blood tests.  If you could update this thread with what they say, it would be appreciated.
