Hi everyone
I have posted on here before in regards to my anxiety. But now I have a new question. tomarrow I go to my psychiatrist for a script for new antidepressents but before I get to my question let me explain a little bit whats going on. I have suffered GAD/Panic disorder for 8 years now. I have always taken antidepressents for it. My first one being lexapro that worked great for about 5 years then pooped out. Then I was put on celexa which worked great for about 3 year and now just recntly has pooped out. and here I am now. MY anxiety has been kicking my but for a month in a half now with no relief from meds except from klonopin which helps some what. My old psychiatrist tried me on paxil and effexor this last month in half which I had bad side effects fromboth. Now I am going to see a new psych tomorrow to try and get my antipressents under control and was thinking about asking her to try me on lexapro again sense it worked so well before. So my question is has anyone ever been on a med that pooped out on them and then went back to it some years later and it worked again?

Sometimes it takes a few weeks for meds to level out in the blood to become active .
sometimes it's an increase in dosage and sometimes it may tale a combo of meds. I had Sam issues. I have to rotate my meds.

on three occasions I've just switched to a new one which ,fortunately, has worked for me. I am taking 150 setrelene which is pretty good most of the time.
good luck, try not to worry, trust you specialist or change them them till you get one that you can trust. I have never gone back on to tablets I have been of before. I v ery . rarely pop a Valium 2mg. For a couple of days about twice a year, this works for me
