i was wondering how often everyone takes their antivirals? who takes constantly who takes when they feel symptoms coming and who doesnt take at all?

    I have never taken antiviral I have had 1 outbreak since my initial outbreak in 2016 i take a multivitamin and Llysine everyday

    i take a antiviral everyday. i have yet to have a outbreak ( since my first one) and i got diagnosed a year ago.

    i take 500mg valtrex daily!

    i had my first outbreak in August 2018! i gave myself 6 months to see what happened but i got so stressed and struggled mentally! I had 9 oubreaks from august-jan! nothing compared to my first! by giving myself time i learned to tell when i was going to have a outbreak! Ive been on supressive therapy since feb and have had or felt nothing 😃

      how can you tell when an outbreak is coming? are you m/f? and what do you know about shedding i cant find enough information about when i might be contagious

      thats the same Questions i need to know. Would like to be more informed as i believe i jus contracted hsv

    I never took an antiviral because my outbreaks were relatively mild. Over time the interval between outbreaks has got longer and longer. My last outbreak was August last year, but I expect to have more
