I lso get confuded what is panic and what is anxiety.  I would sum it up as both the same - no help I inow.  I think mine is anxiety as it is there for unreasonable reasons eg neighbours moving away, alone in the house etc.  To me panic is being scared of a particular thing e.g. planes, trains,  I may be totally wrong and someone will tell me xx

Cant describe it other than painful and emotionally draining. I m still at the stage of trying to come to terms with it myself. When it happened to me the first time it was as though i was aware of the symptons but as though it wasnt me. Sounds weird but so true. Only recently have i come to terms that it is anxiety. It starts with either a thought or twtch that you cant get rid of then builds to pain, muscle tightness shortness of breath and the finally manifests itself into complete fear and the whole nervous system starts to play around with your body. It lasts anywhere between 20mins or like my first experience 14 hours of complete onedge. It sounds and reads dreadful but it will get easier with time and understanding each time that it is only anxiety. Talking about how your feeling has alway helped myself. You are not alone always remember your loved ones and friends and that deep down within side of yourself everything will be fine given time. I hope this has helped slighty.

I dont get chest pains or shortness of breath just a feeling in my stomach and chest.  I deal with it by changing breathing as I think I start taking shallow breths when in anxiety. and change my thought path. e.g "ok I know what this is and I know it goes away so deal with it"  if you follow me.  I also try to take my mind off it by doing something.
