can anxiety make u forgetful feels like your on cloud nine dissconected from the word and sayother words half way thru a sentence my head feels like its a pressure cooker and its going to pop blury vision dizzy had ct scans mri scans bloods done all clear apart from a severe sinus and chest infection that has been going on since jan i really dont know what to do

i have every symptom and i have severe anxiety.. only 18 years old. i never feel like im really here. i get headaches , dizziness, forgetfulness, every symptoms u could ever imagine. stress and anxiety can take a huge toll on your body. its quite scary actually. hang in there

hiya hun its scary best way for me to describe it is i just feel like a pair of eyes thats it i used to think anxiety was a cop out for ppl not to go out or work but my god this has opend my eyes to mental illness i take my hat off to everyone suffering mental illness and hanging in there its a fight 24/7 nothing but respect now for ppl thank you for your reply

absolutely anxiety can make you forget and make you feel like you’re disconnected from the world. That is called derealization or depersonalization. It happens when your brain tries to protect you from stress so it locks things out.
you can get head pressure, dizziness and many other symptoms.
The Best thing to do is try to relax your mind as much as possible. There’s many great meditations on YouTube for anxiety that totally relaxes me. You can also get some counseling which can be very helpful. Have you been to the doctor about the sinus infection? And chest infection? If it has not going away yet it’s a good idea to have it checked out. You may need antibiotics. Take care

hiya yeah this is the 3rd lot of antibiotics ive had it never seems to clear it iv got health anxiety ....GAD i just feel a complete wreck 24/7 thank you for your reply

I fee your pain I'm in exactly the same boat it's awful I'm trying to push for a mri of my chest as that the only thing I haven't had done so fingers crossed I get it. are you on any medication?

awwww its awful i cant cope much longer and yeah im on qutiepine trazadone pregabalin im in for another mri scan on the 19th my heart beats funny all the time but the doctors say im fine but i know my own body and sumthing isent right but no1 will listen to me i hope you get sorted

hi hun i totally get it i had an awful panic attack last thursday at 4am it awoke me i spent all the next day completely drained and not feeling here or with it whatsoever a warm bath the deep breathing tecnique really helped me i had an early night and friday i felt human again... ive suffered for a few years now but eventually you will learn and find coping ways to beat this nasty evil anxiety xx always remember you are safe and itwont win! xx

and ive also suffered with my sinuses im seeing the ent specialists and on steroid spray for my nose daily it really can make you feel not with it thoughts with you xx

yeah my doctors are crap they dont listen to me they wont do nothing but throw depression tablets at me even the doctors at the hospital said i need to see the ent folk but my own doctor wont listen im short on breath now as i cant breath right thru my nose dont know what else to do xxx
