anxiety and cbt

I've been suffering from panic attacks and anxiety for a number of years. I'm about to go for cognitive behavioural therapy to see if it makes any difference. Has anyone reading done CBT? Did you find it helped? I'm desperate to try and control my anxiety and wondered if you have any useful positive experience. I'm on propranolol and citalopram and been taking them for about 10 days.

I have just finished a block of cbt, I'm not going to lie, it works, but it tough going. You find good sessions and bad sessions, but I was sceptical about it, but they give you lots off strategies and ideas. Just try to be honest with yourself and your therapist to get the best out of it. Hope you find it ok x

CBT has made me feel a little better, but as others have said it is not easy

    Good luck
