anxiety hell on fluoxetine

My dose is upped to 40mg and the anxiety is crazy. I can't rest I'm so on edge its hell!!!! Will it settle ????

Oh Hun. I feel for you. Anxiety is hell but it will get better. Just give it time and tell yourself it is just anxiety and medication adjustment. Try to do something to take your mind off it. I know it's not easy.

Im currently on 40Mg and everything is fine. Still a miserable git and not happy. But side effects have worn. Be strong and keep busy.

Yes it will...
Each of us is different, but we are all "broken" in some way.
Consider this medicine to be the glue that helps us to mend.
It will not fix us and takes a long time to "dry", but it helps us back to what we were so that we may look at things in a more rational way.
When we get to that point, we can look at what the problems are a little clearer and maybe find the answers in our own time.

I was fine so well so happy but post natal depression doesn't work like that
My councillor didn't want me on 40 said it would give me a don't care less attitude, I don't want this I just want me!!!
Has anyone had server anxiety side effect and it pass? Its not a bit its crippled me.

Why don't you ask your GP to consider prescribing you a small dose of diazepam to help you though this tough time. Its not an ideal drug to use long term but it definitely has its use shorter-term. It can help you through the next few days while waiting for the side effects to pass.
