Anxiety lasting all night

Hi everyone,

Since late this evening I started getting my usual panic but it's 2am where I live and it's just not subsiding at all. I've tried to sleep but it's impossible i get jolted awake by the feling of falling from a large height and when i try to get comfortable it feels like pressure on my chest like something is going to stop me from breathing. The feling is intense and been lasting at the same intensity for hours. Any tips for this? Also I've been struggling lately to accept what I'm experiencing is just anxiety because these sensations are always so intense they make me believe I'm in danger. I have the doctors tomorrow so I can mention it but until then, it's so hard to deal with. Thanks in advance

Hi I used to get those 'dreams' where you imagine falling from a height, not nice at all. I believe it is based on anxiety and a feeling of insecurity about a worrying situation that may have happened previously but was never resolved.

I think that talking it thru with your dr will help you . CBT, Mindfullness, yoga are good coping strategies too.
