Anxiety making me crazy

Hi,

I am 34 single mother of 2 and i swear i feel like my heart is racing but when i check my pulse its normal between 65-70 bpm. I even have a blood pressure machine at my desk due to me having high bp and being a type 2 diabetic. I am trying everything to calm down, due to my anxiety my bp rises which makes me freak out more which make my bp rise...... I am meditating, going to start yoga, i just dont know what to do to calm me down...... mind is always racing that i am gooing to have a heart attack and die

      Yes. They have a ton of experience with all this. And can guide you

      this when untreated creates more anxiety and can easily twist itself into being a bit more complex to include ocd and health anxiety. You want to catch it now and get guidance on all of it. Excellent you are doing things to self calm. Your rationale needs to improve so you can quickly think theu your fears or thoughts and dismantle them. Checking ur pulse and heart rate is a sign you are developing health anxiety.

    First advice is stop checking your heart rate,the simple act of checking it can raise it, even a slight raise if your preempting it. When your anxious adrenaline is released which can feel terrible, as you calm down it will pass. Maybe see a Dr about anxiety in general

    you normally have a heart attack when it stops so as long as you have a good pulse don't worry
