I know that with anxiety it is common to feel unsteady on your feet but mine is so bad that i feel like i'm going to lose my balance and fall over.
In the shop i rarely feel able to let go of my husband's arm, i cannot stand still and concentrate on things on the shelf and i feel very spaced out with it too.
I had thought this was part of my anxiety and worsening agoraphobia but 3 weeks ago my diazepam dose was increased by 2mg per day making a total daily dose of 20mg.
Now i am thinking it might be that increase making mefeel so unbearably unsteady, i have just stood in my own kitchen feeling like it, no other anxiety symtoms at all.
So i was wondering if anyone could explain their own feelings of unsteadiness purely because i am trying to work out if it is the anxiety doing this or the increase in meds.

I have had anxieties to where I have felt unsteady on my feet and part of it is medication to besides the anxieties
You should ask your doctor if you can lower your medication to see how you feel

I will speak to my doctor, reducing needs to be done carefully as diazepam is addictive but i will get some advice from her, i can't cope with feeling so unsteady, it makes me feel more vulnerable than ever.

Mine seems to be mores triggered when I'm out, but I get it at home too, I'm beginning to wonder if it's something to do with my inner ear or sinuses because my right ear is always popping and stuffy and a bit painful, do you get anything like that?

I have had the dizzy feelings with anxiety before and felt things like the floor is moving slightly but never anything like this with the off balance and unsteadiness.
