Anxitey and worried how I look

Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so how did they deal with it ?

I've had anxitey and deppresion for the last 2 years my main problems are socialising and looking in the mirrow up to 50 times a day and see a person that looks down with black rings around my eyes

ADVICE PLEASE

    So anxiety and depression and possibly OCD. What help have you had? Are you on any medication? You obviously suffer from a problem with self image or lack of and you need to recognise that we all have the odd problem with what we see in the mirror. Facial lines, a big nose, perhaps even a big mouth but we have to accept ourselves for what we are and not let it get in the way of socialising and making friends. Just try and make the most of who and what you are.

      Ive been on sertraline for 14 weeks now had a rough time I've been having cbt aswell for a good few months got my first appointment with psyc next week see what they say

    I am also struggling with a couple of things you have said it took me a while but I went to the doctors and told them exactly how I felt and it rely helped maybe it would help you to also I have started having massages and they have helped me as well they help calm you and restore you I think so maybe that would help you hope this helps and if you need to talk to anyone I'm here I know exactly what it's like I'm still struggling with it to smile it's good that you have recognised what it is so well done smile

      Hi thanks are you taking any medication ? If so what is it and has it helped ? Do u look in the mirrow a lot ? And when you do what do u see ? Do u think people are looking at u all the time ?
