Any advice

I have been away on holiday, and I somehow didn't take enough Dolquine with me. I missed 3 days and my RA has now flared up. Do anyone know how long it might take to settle please. I'm suffering bad at the moment.

    Ah, this is a brand name for hydroxychloroquine ( also known as plaquenil) . I take it and have noticed a negative effect if I miss it for a day or 2. ( same problem- ran out on holiday)

    As I take other DMARD meds as well I m not in exactly the same situation as you. But my sympyoms settle down again after a few days of taking it again.

      Thanks for your quick response, fingers crossed things settle soon. I am also on prednisone 5 mgs daily. Won't forget to take enough with me again.

      Yes.I understand stopping prednisolone suddenly is definitely a no-no. Preds needs to be tapered slowly.

      So be sure you've always got enough on you.

      it wasn't the prednisone I stopped it was the Dolquine.
