in my late 20s (39 now) I heard one of my coworkers talk about ovarian rejuvenation, she was in her early 40s at that time. She was Korean, for them it's part of a rituals you'd even say once women enter the perimenopause phase to do all kind of healing and rejuvenation of female reproductive organs with herbs and natural remedies. I didn't take anything seriously and honestly might have dismissed the concerns of peri symptoms. of course I was young and immune to all the health problems but today I know exactly what she was talking about. Thank you for bringing up ovarian rejuvenation. I am going to look into that.

hi sandra - i know you are probably in pain & the last thing you probably feel like doing is exercising, but i have had so many aches & pains & i started a restorative yoga (very gentle/meditative) & it really has helped to relieve the constant inflammation that i feel in all my joints & muscles. 3 months ago i woke up & i felt like i was 90, just overnight - do try the yoga or a gentle water movement class (many senior centers offer it) that has also helped me - feel better

Hi sandra. I have had this before. However, I had it before peri too. It was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced. Muscle relaxers generally help me. Last time it took longer though. I did some research after that because I swore I would never go through it that long again. My plan was to go see a neurologist so I would be an established patient so that the next time it hit I would be able to go in for a trigger point injection that would numb it.
