I had TOT sling in August. I still have trouble emptying bladder all the way. No leaking. What I have noticed is if I let my bladder get so full that I'm uncomfortable. When I do go, it's only a light stream. I end up going several times before the pressure lets up. It's really weird, it's happen several times when I let it get to full. I drink a lot of water and unsweetened tea. No sugar or sodas. Very weird when you feel like you are going to bust. It's like the flow is cut off.
I'm going to try not to let it go that far any longer. Didn't know if anyone else experienced that.

Hi Grace,
Just wanted to say your not being ignored, unfortunately not had a TOT sling, but had a A&P repair 8 months ago ( had hysterectomy 3 1/2 years ago).
If I am on my feet too long my bladder is effected in the same way; it gets to really full and doesn't empty as quick as it can or should, it is a bit more than a trickle though.
Once I rest with feet up it sorts itself again.
Seeing consultant Monday , think I'm overstretching scar tissue and a bit worried it's pulling on repairs.
Matron did say I shouldn't be able to do any damage at this stage to repairs and I am still doing mh best to protect them and avoid down pressure but still worried as up till recently had no problems with bowel or bladder since last repairs.
Like yourself I do tend to drink lots of water, sometimes mix with cranberry to avoid urinary infections.
Hoping whatever causing discomfort is easy fix, hard to accept intense pain can be just scar tissue.

Thank you Phyl,
It happen the other night at dinner. From now on, I'm going to go when I first get the urge. At least it's not a daily thing anymore. Must be so e sort of swelling to make the flow go to a very slow flow that does not empty right away?
Thank you for taking the time to reply
. I should start taking my cranberry everyday.
