Any positive experiences with Nexplanon implant?

I'm 22 years old and had the Nexplanon etonorgestrel implant inserted 4 days ago to treat my debilitating menorrhagia and dysmenorrhea. Does anyone have any successful experiences with it that they would like to share? Looking online I've found some real horror stories but does anyone have any positive words about Nexplanon, particularly when used as a treatment for these conditions rather than birth control? I'm very nervous about weight gain and acne, but I really want to give this a shot as I'm at my wit's end in terms of treatment (I cannot use estrogen treatments due to migraines, and have tried all available progesterone-only pills as well as the Mirena IUD, which my body expelled not long after insertion). Additionally, anyone that has had side effects, how long after insertion did they begin? I got my implant inserted on day one of my period so I can't quite tell whether my exhaustion and nausea is from the implant or just my "normal" monthly illness.

Thanks!

I have the Nexplanon implant but I'm using it as a birth control not for any of those conditions but I can still give you my post I've review as I have had it sense I was 18 to now me being almost 23. I have had it for about 5 to 6 years now.

In the years that I have had it I only gained 32 pounds, when I was 18 I weighed 118 and then I got it Put in and now at 23 I'm 150. My periods are irregular but they have not been as painful at all. My cramps used to be so bad I would get sick so badly to where I would have to call into work. And it's definitely helped with that. And other then the normal exhaustion from my period I don't feel neasuated or exhausted. But like all birth controls every body is different and they all act in different ways depending on your hormones and stuff like that but I thought I would let you know how my experience has been with the Nexplanon
