Hi all, me again.

Sometimes I feel like i am dying. My heart does weird things, I feel like I can't breath well, I get dizzy/ lightheaded and a bunch of other things. My mind automatically goes to the worst case scenario. Then my thoughts get out if control and deep down I know I'm not dying but my thoughts say what if I am dying? What If the doctors missed something and I have a serious disease. It's scary. I'm really scared right now. I just wanted to know if any of you felt the same? Is it normal to feel like this? Please tell me your symptoms and if you ever think/ feel like you're dying and how to calm down. I'm 22 and I eat more junk food than I should and sometimes don't drink enough water, but otger than that I'm not unhealthy. Anyways. Just needing some reassuranxe. Snxiety is bloody scary :,(. I wish we didn't have to suffer from it.

xx

Yes lots of people exactly the same.  Anxiety and Depression,  make sure you get a diagnosis from a medical person please.   Some one said to me the other day "If you break a leg you dont try and fix it quicker you have to wait till its fixed"  Anxiety is the same you cant fix it overnight you have to wait till your body fixes it and dont try and fight it. (Sometimes easier said that done).  Come on here anytime someone will always listen.

Hi Whitney i feel exactly the same as you especially today i feel terrible i dont even like to say those words but i wake like today and think what if i drop down because i feel so terrible inside i just cant believe anxiety causes all these uncontrollable symptoms. Currently i feel weak, fast heartbeat, nauseous, feeling unreal and a general sense inside of feeling unwell. I woke in the night to an uneasy feeling in my chest and my heart racing. I feel so scared to. Im 26 years old. I understand what your going through.

Hi Christine do you take any medication? When did your anxiety start? Its so comforting to know others understand and go through the same as me. To the people around me it always looks like im ill daily and now i feel like i cant talk to anyone because i feel bad for keep saying im ill. I hate feeling like this. I want my life back but living like this is torture. I really hope it does go away eventually like people say ive been unwell for 3 years nearly but its been a year at the severity it is :-(  is there anything you find helps you cope?x

Yea I am taking Propanalol and Ciatalopram but i do not really like taking drugs.

I have always had heightened anxiety for many years but sometimes it just gets out of control.

I find talking a great help if there is anyon to listen.

I am also finding being on here helpful as you know you are not alone.

Aww i understand its horrible and feels like you have no control. Its strange because today i havent had a racing heart but then im still on edge thinking my heartbeat is to slow because im used to it racing, so i cant win. Those thoughts in itself have made me feel a sense of dread all day like something bads going to happen and being new year also i think whats going to go wrong. Ive felt so spaced out today. Are you doing anything with your evening? Im staying in and getting a take away and im still undecided weather to take a lorezepam or just have a glass of wine to relax me. x

Yes very often, i am 67 and have had this for 40 years, it has increased in severity over the last 3 years, i wake up with my heart racing, plus the anxiety throughout the day, even when i worked it took over my life some days.  Its an illness inside our heads that people cannot see!

Judging by your name you are young,  you should not feel like this at your age,  I worked all my life it was difficult sometimes but it took the focus off myself, i had 3 children and a husband who was selfish and at times my anxiety took all my energy and it was difficult to keep up with my household responsibilities.  Anxiety totally destroys your life!

They will figure this out. They are finally truely researching it. Something is glitches in our brains somewhere. It will be physically based when they finally figure it out. They figured out syphllis and mad hatter (mercury) the problem is everything runs around money and funding.and mris just came out in 1977 so takes a long time to figure out these bidy parts and effects and such. This is a mal functioning fight or flight. So they got that far. And medical breakthrough show some promise. Also look at your medicines because they have issues as well with toxicity..ototoxic..effects on the body as a whole.. as we age the body takes longer to metabolize stuff and   It makes side effects more pronounced.
