Kava kava is herbal. Not sure it's available in the uk anyway. I understand no trials done on it properly so could cause damage to organs. It's from ancient times and it's believed tobe marvellous in treatment of anxiety and insomnia. I have considered it but the possible implications over organ failure guess what gave me anxiety. Wish we could find that magic something ! I take St. John's wort. It takes I would say ten weeks for you to feel any different. But it has helped me it sort of makes you not her as upset you can shake things off easier. Things don't bother you to the same depth so snxiry reduces. I am definitely coping sleeping better and wouldn't not take them. Some friends I have take em too and have for years. One takes them as she has a temper and on the wort she doesn't get angry as she did. Think they make you more rational so snxiry lessens. Doesn't disappear and still have tough times but I am definitely better on them. Worth a try I would say xx
