I had my first surgery a week ago with a mono lens. set for distance .Within a couple of days of surgery my vision was like high def vision. The day before yesterday I noticed that my computer screen is more clear and my distance isnt as much. The vividness I had within the first couple of days us not nearly as noticable.
I had my eye surgeon appointment yesterday to get cleared for the second eye surgery which is my dominate eye.
she said everything is healing as it should and lifted all my restrictions . I brought my concerns and she told me that we are only 1 week out and healing is still in process and 1 eye needs to be done yet.
She is one of the top surgeons in the state
so i certainly trust her.
My hubby has awesome results with his 2 surgeries that she did
so what is you take here on why i am seeing how i am

Too early to say. Perhaps you had some power shift which is normal.

I am really confused. I chose a mono lens for distance (medicare coverage) and at first I was seeing amazing. Now with this shift will it go back to seeing better distance and seeing less so on my computer. At first I couldnt see my computer screen very well at all. Now I see it perfectly.
What can I expect here. Second surgery on my dominate eye is next week.
Like I said I just at 1 week post op on the first eye

I would suggest you delay the surgery on your second eye until after you have had a final eye exam at 6 weeks on the first eye. If there was a miss on your first eye, then an adjustment can be made on the second eye. It is not bad to have one eye set for closer than full distance.

The large majority of the healing requires about three weeks. I would not get concerned about the specific outcome unless it is off at the 3 week mark. The normal procedure is to get an exam at 24 hours after the surgery, then again at 3 weeks, and then a final one that you could base an eyeglass prescription on at 6 weeks. I would suggest waiting a minimum of 6 weeks to find out the final results before going ahead with the second eye. If it is off, then the information can be used to make a better prediction of the power required for the second eye.
