If you had rubbed your finger and it had a red patch that went away after an hour, would you be worried? How is it any different just because it is your penis?

Maybe you scraped yourself with your fingernail? Use lube - it'll probably enhance your pleasure, too.

Can this be a balanitis or not? Because sometimes there is a possibility to have it and sometimes not. Thanks for helpin me bro. Hope you'll reply again

Hi jonathan26633.
Sorry - I'm not a doctor - just a fellow sufferer (occasionally, but not at the moment, luckily). I can't diagnose - none of us on the forum can, as it would require a physical examination. Go to a doctor if you are still concerned.

I'm not a doctor so it must be your decision. Shouldn't your girlfriend be the one to decide? Show her - I expect she will be OK about it.

I've had
1. Lichen Planus, which required no treatment,
2. fungal infection - used Daktarin,
3. slight dryness and cracking of the foreskin - Smith's Cremolia was best for this but it's no longer available, so I just use Nivea skin cream now.

If it disappears after an hour, I don't think there's anything to worry about. It could just be mild balanitis though.
If it is balanitis, then these links may help:

Washing (with water, no soap) daily, and taking a leak and washing after masturbation or sex will probably help, and you could also try Canesten cream or Daktarin cream. Loose fitting cotton underwear may help, and some sites recommend washing underwear with non-biological washing powder or liquid.
