No experience of Duloxetine... but in my experience the loss of appetite with Fluoxetine is short lived. ย I lost my appetite at the beginning of treatment, but it returned with a vengeance after a couple of months. I have gained two stone over the course of treatment.

Yes Kate I've been on it for 13 weeks and am staring to get crazy cravings for sugar mostly again like I did before.

Wouldn't mind oft gave me energy but finding motivation is awful for everything but sleeping and lazing around!

Getting headaches in my third eye area a lot and pressure behind my eyes.

Sex drive is dead with the ability to orgasum getting harder.

Agomelatine Is suppose to make you have energy and not effect sex drive and not make you drosey or effect sleep?!?!

So scared of changing but depression is so bad and anxiety is back especially leading up to my period ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜”

If I've learned anything it's that everyone's experience is different. I had terrible insomnia, weight gain and many other physical side-effects... But it definitely did help me a lot with the anxiety. ย It's choosing which is the lesser of the two evils. Each medication has its own set of side effects which may or may not affect you. It's a tough call for you.. I wouldn't like to advise. ย Ask your GPs advice maybe?

During recovery on these meds your mood will be up and down for many, many months. ย Sometimes you'll feel great and other times it feels like you're going backwards. ย It took my son nearly 8 months to recover on these meds and he went through absolute hell for the first 4-5 months. ย He's now fully recovered and happy once again.

These meds take a very long time to work for a lot of people, and many don't give them enough time to work, often switching from meds to meds hoping to find a quicker way. ย You often need to stick with one meds and one dose for a very long time before deciding if they're for you or not.

Count progress in months, not weeks.

    K xx
