are any of you postpartum anxiety sufferers?

I need help. I can't talk to my family about this. I do have the support of my fiance but still.. So after my second baby I got postpartum anxiety. It hit me HARD. As you can probably tell by my frequent posts lol.. Anyways, I just found out I'm expecting again. My newest is only 8 months old. I had health problems with both pregnancies.. And this one resulted in severe anxiety.. Does this get worse with each child? I'm nervous about carrying the baby to term if I'm on citalopram, along with the health risks for both myself and the baby..

It is true that the baby could absorb the citalopram so you should decide with a Dr on withdrawal from it.

Hi my aniexty has got 100 times worse since having my baby he is now 6 months old! I felt like I'm going crazy at times, with my other children my aniexty was ok I think it just depends on your body. You may feel fine after. Hormones don't help 😫 Do you think the meds help? I'm scared to take anything as a side effect is anixety

Meds don't help in my opinion.. Even before I was pregnant I was in the process of weaning off.. The past week I dropped the dose to 5. Yesterday was my first day with none at all. Withdrawal symptoms are already here. I also don't want to have to rely on meds forever to be happy.

I'm not depressed at all, I feel like right now I should feel great, but like you said it feels like my anxiety is bringing me down. As for physical symptoms, the list is enormous.. Everything from headaches and fast heartbeat to chest pains, nausea, insomnia, everything. Mine is health anxiety based around my heart. I never had a chest pain until after my son when my anxiety hit me
