Background Info:
I'm 15 years old, turning 16 in 6 months, weigh around 210 lbs (I have a lot of fat, but also a considerable amount of muslce), and I'm 5'8".
Situation:
Recently, I've been experiencing pain in the area directly below my knee. I went to the doctor, but he just diagnosed it as growing pains. However, after looking it up a little, I'm beginning to question his conclusion. My pains last throughout the whole day. When I'm idle, my legs are fine, but once I start any actiivty that places pressure on them, such as walking, they begin to hurt. Plus, I'm a thrower for my school's team and I can throw discus fine, but it seems to be hindering my shotput throw, as I'm not able to get as much power from my legs anymore. And I can't even touch backboard on a basketball hoop anymore, I can barely touch the net. After doing reserach, appearantly my legs aren't supposed to lose any strength, but they have indeed lost a considerable amount.
