Are these flushes?

Im 51 and Im sure in peri now, my periods are all over the place and in December I had at least three and around that time I had stomach issues with gastitis. Im on medication still for this but wondered if the nausea and sudden hot feeling (which doesn't last long) is due to hormones or the side effects of the tablets! Two days after the nausea and flush feeling I had a spotting (period is due around now) but not sure if get full blown one. I thought that perhaps because this happened around the spotting that it was hormonal? Are flushes like this?

Hey. Im 48 and in perimenopause too, my menstraul last 2 days and disappears but this month of April it came with an attitude! Thank God, i found this helpful site because I had just about every symptom including nausea and the sudden hot feeling and I was worried. But after reading the 66 symptoms of perimenopause on this site, I don't panic. Check the the side effects on your medication and if wasn't happening before that is a sign its just perimenopause. Try eating saltine crackers as soon as you feel nausea, it helps me and for the hot feelings, fan or AC and plenty of ice cold water. Check with your stomach doctor first about taking something natural to help you as far as vitamins for perimenopause or menopause (each one targets different symptoms) at the whole foods market that are so helpful. You must give it a week for your body to start benefiting from the vitamins. Your not alone, we are all going through it together! 😉
