are these perimenopause symptoms?

Hi everyone! I'm 39 years old and have been feeling pretty crummy for the past couple months. Some days I feel better than others and some days are just down right awful. I will have times where I get very warm all over my body, then I get clammy and then I get cold. It also feels like I'm shaking on the inside. I've also noticed that when my body gets this warm sensation, my heart starts to pound harder and even starts to hurt. Has anyone else ever experienced this? And is this the beginning of perimenopause? Thank you!

It may be, anxiety sleep problems depression menstrual cycle changes are also signs id go and see your gynaecologist. They tend to take you more seriously than a GP,

good luck I hope you get sorted.

Hi I'm 40 and have had the worst year experiencing these type of symptoms- I've no idea if it's 'peri menopause ' exactly a that is so hard to define, but there is no doubt that it is due to fluctuations in hormones which inevitably start at our age, or even earlier, as for me it is worse after my period as I'm high in estrogen and need progesterone to balance it out, so the second half of my cycle is always best for me - it's the other way round if you notice worse pmt - so make a diary of your symptoms and when they occur in your cycle as this really helped me,  and I can happily say that right now I'm feeling good and I put this down to completely cutting down on sugar and gluten, taking calcium, magnesium and b vitamin supplements and crucially Maca which is a supppement used for 1000s of years to balance hormones and give energy- note that for me it took a few weeks to work but now I'm feeling really well, so would recommend it x

I am 41 and a mess also. I have been getting the internal tremors. They are driving me nuts. I also have neck and back and arm pain. I don't know if they are related to each other or both related to hormones but it has caused a tremoundous amount of anxiety.

      What brand of Maca?
