Armpit Discomfort - Lymph Node or Muscle

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi,

I am a male and about last week i felt discomfort in both my armpits. It happens sometimes when I move my arm, no pain it just feels lightly uncomfortable.

I dont wear any deodrant. In the mirror I cannot see a lump coming protruding out. I also check my armpit to see if anything swollen. When i push my finger into middle of armpits about 2cm-3cm in, i can feel something there but im not sure if it is just muscle/tendon? Also I tried another way where I had my hands on my hip and elbow point outward I then got 3 finger and try to pinch my armpit I also felt the same thing there. Feels like a size of a small chicken nugget lol.

1 ) How do I tell apart if it is muscle/tendon or swollen lymph node? Any tips to confirm would be appreciated

2 ) Also should swollen lymph node be visible in the mirror or they dont show?

3 ) If I do not have swollen lymph node then what could the armpit discomfort be?

Thanks, very stressed as of late.
