hi everyone havent posted a comment for a while laptop been in for repair only had it back 2day. been 4 mamogram apart from a couple of cysts everything normal thankfully. im still seeing physiotherapist she is still unable to start any physio on me as i am still too sore,but she said i might benefit from a course of acupuncture had my first trearment 2day and have another 2 sessions wed + friday so im hoping to feel alittle better and my pain to be more manageable,still waiting 4 an appointment with pain clinic,i received a questionaire from them which i filled in and sent back. im still on the same meds but i find that the oxycontin gives me a headache. i have to go into hospital 4 an operation in afew weeks to repair a prolapse,which has happened because the pain meds i am taking has made me constipated so as i have been straining to go has caused my cervix too drop down.i am in a lot of pain with my neck back and sternum for the last couple of days more than usual so i must be having a flare up. havent had a migraine attack of late so thats good,this illness is a bugger feel like crap most of t he time. i hope everyone is feeling a little better. like all of us fibro sufferers im not looking forward 2 winter we will all have to become recluse and not go out .but in reality there,s no chance of that.well take care everyone .heleny

    Good to hear from you again. Sorry to hear that you going to have an operation. Hope all goes well for you. You don't need that on top of everything else with the fibro. Hope your other sessions of accupunture go well and help with your pain. :lol:

    No I am not looking forward to the winter. :cry: Just have to take one day at a time.

    I hope all goes well with your opperation. Some times its hard to decide what meds to take for the best. Wishing you all the best.

    Tess how are you ? Got any more trips away planned?

    I'm on a downer just far too much going off in my life. Alan is off to London tomorrow to make his statement for victimisation claim against his Boss. Once that is sorted he then will hear the outcome of his own disiplinary. All this waiting is getting to me and the fact that he is constantly under my feet. I love him to bits just it would be nice to have a bit of me time. Off to docs on friday to disscuss specialist report hope he will follow requests without sending me back to rheumi.

    Linda hope your alterations are going smoothly. That life is treating you well and that your mum is ok.

    Richard hope you are doing Ok and that you are manageing to get to work.

    Di hope you are feeling a little better?

    Hope Alan gets on ok in London today and you don't have to wait much longer to find out what is going on. :lol: I know what you mean about getting under your feet. It is good to have a bit of time to yourself as much as we love them. It is good when Stewart is on days as that is my time then. I always get my jobs done quicker in the house when he is at work. When he is there I spend time just talking to him and can't get on as well.

    I hope your appt goes ok on Friday and you don't get refered back to rheum. :cry:

    We are going away to Matlock in Derbyshire from Fri until Tuesday so will have to catch up with you when I get back to see how you got on at Appt1

    Will be thinking about you.

    Good Morning Everybody,

    Well its gone really quiet in here.

    Tess I hope you are enjoying your break in Matlock its such a beautiful place to visit, but i always find the temperature is much cooler than at home. In my younger days i use to do a lot of canoing there.

    Linda hows life treating you? Have the alterations finished? Its all the extra work it creates when they have finished.

    Richard you have gone very quiet hope life is treating? Have you had your other tests yet?

    Di I hope you are on the mend now and not in too much pain.

    Hi just to say I too am waiting for an operation on a hiatus hernia I think this is because the painkillers cause constipation and caused the hernia or acid reflux, I to have all the symptons of fibo ,the clicking jaw dry mouth from ammiltrip it is as if you go one step forward and six steps back.
