I have difficulty understanding you post.

You suffer from anxiety and it is getting worse?

Doctors do prescribe therapy for anxiety if they think it is serious enough, and that includes pills.   If you think your case is serious, go back and tell him so.

A serious case is where it affects your everyday life.

I agree weather it's anxiety, depression ect the gp is ur first point of contact. Doctors normally prescribe ssri which is a form of anti depression tablet which will ease certain symptoms of the condition. They can take up to 12 weeks to really show the best affects.

I have health anxiety which pretty much mimics heart attack and no amount of doctors can tell me otherwise as I do believe certain GP put everything down to anxiety. Go to a different doctor and be completely honest

Honestly unless the doctors open me up and tell me 109 percent nothing is wrong my brain doesn't believe them and I fight every day to not think I'm dying but apprently health anxiety is just another irrational fear of death

Health anxiety is where the pains are caused by the anxiety.  Having pains might be caused by something else though.  It is a doctor's job to work out what is causing the pains.

They don't no what they are been to a&e dozens of times to be told there is nothing wrong had blood tests etc

The doctors will do basic test which they did with me and they say they won't take it further as there is nothing pointing to a physical medical condition at all. The problem with health anxiety u go looking for it mentally.. well at least I do and I've read lots of stories about young women and heart attack ect being misdiagnosed and being told it's anxiety. U have to trust the doctors I guess but in my case thats very hard

I've had blood tests ecgs and xrays but still feels like Theres something there when I get an attack

I know that feeling they did same test for me too said they couldn't see or find anything that's causing the issues so they can't treat something they can't find. Hence why my gp.has now said health anxiety

That's the problem there are a lot of doctors who just 1 don't seem to care as long as they reach there NHS targets. Or they thing they know everything and rather admit they may be wrong and send patients to the right specialists they come up with whatever the may think is wrong. Patients with anxiety generally have trust issues because it's so hard to believe we feel so awful on a daily basis from a mental state rather then a physical

Many chest infections do not need medical treatment - as they are caused by viruses.
