Back on 20mg

I've been off work for 6 weeks with a constant cough that would not go - I had very little sleep and didn't go out much as I became incontinent with it.

I was due to go back to work today and after being off for 6 weeks already I found my anxiety has kicked in full strength (I have had anxiety and depression before and was on 40mg at it's worse) and my head is working overtime. I spoke to the doctor today who prescribed me 20mg and said to try and go for a short while but I know that I can't 😥 I honestly don't know what to do - any advice is appreciated 💕

    Loo Hi

you could nhav some side side effects from these meds but eventually they will help with your anxiety and you will be able to function like a normal person.i would try to go to work and ask your GP for a mild sedative to help with the initial side effects and calm things down for you.

i soldiered on with work despite feeling awful but in some ways the distraction of work helps to stop you continually worrying about  how you feel.Hope this helps and post again if you need support? Big hug
