I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the five days. Do you mean that it's been 5 days since your MRI? So you had an MRI and they said that you had bulging disc. So did the doctor make a recommendation to you? If so was surgery an option to you or did you see that kind of doctor? You need to see a neurosurgeon or an orthopedic surgeon to determine if your problem is fixable by surgery or not if you want to even do surgery to fix it. And I caution you because not all surgeries for the back work out in fact a lot do not. So you need to work with your doctors and proceed with caution there are many things you can do at this point and from your post I'm guessing you're just starting this journey. There is physical therapy there's pain management which will include everything from epidural injections to stimulators and even opiate drugs for pain control. But I think your first step is to find a good orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon either one will work with your back and see what your options are

    Hello,

If you can, please describe that the pain is just in lower back or goes to any leg also. If it is come like a wave than this is very initial time and you have to do the MRI etc,to find out what's going on and what the Doctors recommends you. If you can please take the second copies of the scan or tests reports and discuss with other specialists too for second opinion.

Good luck and hope everything goes well.
