Back pain

Can anyone tell me if they ONLY have back pain with pancreas problems.
I have very localised back discomfort just to the left of my spine slightly into the side or ribs. Always feels like something pressing. It’s not terrible pain but always there. Dr doesn’t seem interested as unfortunately I suffer anxiety. So he puts everything down to that.
But now of course my anxiety has got hold because I’ve had loose pale , floating stools for the last few days !!! So now I think I do have something bad going on.
I’ve not lost weight, (increased in fact) good appetite and no stomach pain !
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Hi Fiona, we're all different with regard to specific symptoms although there are some universal issues. From what you say your symptoms don't sound like pancreatitis to me. I assume your doctor did some kind of exam of the area of your pain?
However, and I hate to have to say this, your recent bowel issues, everything you've described, can be caused by anxiety, it's actually quite common. Now I'm not saying that is the cause because you do need to be checked out to clarify. I'm telling you that so you're prepared if your doctor shuts you down again. It's important to remain calm and request further tests. If he won't then you'll know its time to go elsewhere.
Something else to consider. If all the results are normal it might mean anxiety is the problem. The physical signs of anxiety are very real and are best not dismissed and you might need help from a specialist if that's the outcome. Good luck
