Hey I went back to work last Monday, lasted just 4 days and am now off for another week due to an infection in/on my incision. Lumpy, sore and very red so please don't be too hard on yourself and if it's all too much, speak to your GP. Mine is v sympathetic and listens to my needs. Do as your body tells you. redface

Hi Luisa. Sorry to hear that. I hope things improve and that doing things part time is helping. Rest up now. Had my 8 wk post op today. Consultant agreed I'm not ready to go back to work yet but it was a massive op. I hadn't realised it was nearly 6 hours until he said today and my iron count still a bit low as had blood transfusion. Hope everyone at work is being understanding towards you. It is such a big ordeal isn't it?

Aww Luisa, don't be hard on yourself, today was a huge day and if you had not been affected physically or emotionally you would have been an exception to the rule. Have a BIG rest tomorrow and I hope things are better on Thursday xx

    Hi Luisa

You might feel an emotional wreck, but you did it, had the op, did the recovery and now you have tackled going back to work, no wonder your poor emotions are all over the place, look what you have been through.  It will get easier each time you go back to work.  Enjoy your day off, and don't beat yourself up, you are a winner.

    Love
