Bad breath after pharyngitis

Hello everyone,
I have very bad breath and can`t stand it anymore so I`m looking for help. I`m 22yo male.
A month ago I was curred of pharyngitis. I had yellow blisters on the back of neck, my tonsils were abnormaly big and sometimes tonsil stones appeared but they were very very small. It took me 2months to finaly reach a doctor beacuse he was booked, i know right. Anyway he said that I should take antibiotics for 10 days so I took (biodrexil) and used it. The doctor did a blood test and said that it was (eberstein virus). I noticed that the tonsils were getting smaller but very slowly. The blisters in my throat also gradualy got smaller. Now after about a month and a half after taking the antibiotics I started to notice tonsil stones forming again and in quite larger numbers. The doctor said that the blisters in my throat should dissappear over a ear. Sometimes when I check out my throat it seems that the blisters are here to stay. I have bad breath for about 4 months now. I brush and floss and clean my tongue two times a day for about three months now. I went to the teeth higienist and he cleaned the rocks from my teeth. I thought that it could influence bad breath butnow that my teeth are fine the breath is still terible. when I stick my tongue out the front part is normal and red but the deep part of it is covered in white goo. I want to buy tetrobreath mouth rinse fluid that it is saidworks great when dealing with bad breath because of the chlorine dioxide formula.
Will I have to get my tonsils cut out or it could be something else? Your opinions please. PS: i dont eatjunk foodor any fizzy drinks. I will post pictures of my mouth if you need them. Eagerly waiting for help.

Hi Emil, it does indeed sound as if your tonsils are causing the problem. Sorry to hear that the doctor just says you need to wait a year or so. I don't think that's good enough. Can you try and get yourself referred to an ear, nose and throat specialist?

Oh dear. It really does sound as if it's the tonsil mucus that's smelling. Any chance of a second ENT opinion? Another thought - I know they have specialist halitosis (bad breath) clinics in some parts of the world, though I don't know anything about them at first hand. Can you research this locally?
